Daily Camp themes

Winter Birds (Tuesday, February 19, 2019)

Learn about the many bird adaptations!  Where are they coming from, what type of nest will they build, what are they going to eat?  Campers will be active learning about bird migration and get creative thinking and acting like a bird.

Wildlife On The Move (Wednesday, February 20, 2019)

Fly, hop, crawl, and waddle your way into camp where we will explore how iconic and endangered species move through nature.  Campers will learn what these species need and will be able to create special messages through movement and art.

Snow Science (Thursday, February 21, 2019)

Explore how snow is formed and how it creates homes for many critters in the winter.  We will get creative with frozen art and science experiments!

Predator Prowl (Friday, February 22, 2019)

Today we will explore predators in winter during our Live Animal Show (10:30-11:30)  provided by the Center for Wildlife!  We will finish our day with an exploration in nature.
