Dates and themes:

June 17-21: Who’s Home?
What is a habitat? How do plants and animals survive in different habitats? From meadow to marsh, pond to forest, we will explore all that Gilsland Farm has to offer this week!

July 8-12: Our Five Senses
Why does a slug feel slimy? Can you tell the song of a chickadee from a robin? Join us for a week of sensory exploration as we challenge ourselves to look, listen, hear, and feel more carefully while learning about animals with super-senses, too.

July 22-26: Butterflies and Bees
How do bees make honey? Why are pollinators important? Learn about the life cycles of these fascinating insects and the important role they play in the life cycle of a plant, too!
