Earth Day Clean-up
Location: Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center
Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by helping clean up Scarborough Marsh and Beaches!
Spring will be here before we know it and it will be time to clean up the marsh, beaches, Nature Center, and grounds for the new season. Join Maine Audubon, Friends of Scarborough Marsh, Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, and the Scarborough community for a work day, and help make our corner of the earth a better place. Groups are welcome!
This year we are partnering with Project G.R.A.C.E. to collect food. Bring some nonperishable food or a store gift card to the clean-up and help the human neighbors of the marsh.
This event is Free! Registration is helpful for planning for food and supplies, but you are welcome to drop in.
If you have any questions you can contact Linda at email@example.com or call 781-2330 ext 213.

Maine Audubon 12-Hr Birdathon
We've designed this fundraising event to be fun & educational for all levels of birders. Don't dismay if you are not an expert birder. Most people can ID more birds than they realize.
Put together a team and head out on May 16 to see how many birds you can spot between 6 am - 6 pm. We ask for a suggested minimum donation of $50 per person so please ask your friends & family to support you - and Maine Audubon. All money raised goes to Maine Audubon to support our mission of conserving wildlife and wildlife habitat.
We'll have categories for:
Best Story of the Day ※ Best Photo ※ Best Team Name
Most Birds Seen ※ Most Money Raised ※ Most "Green" Team
A link for team & individual registration will be posted on/before March 1. Meanwhile, talk to your friends about having an incredible day outside traveling around Maine by car, bike or foot, looking for birds.
If you want some tips & tricks, come to Maine Audubon Friday night at 7:00 pm. We will have experienced birders here to give you advice on the best places to look for specific species.
