Daily Camp themes

Birds (Monday, April 16, 2018)

Learn about the many bird adaptations!  Where are they coming from, what type of nest will they build, what are they going to eat?  Campers will be active learning about bird migration and get creative thinking and acting like a bird.

Wildlife On The Move (Tuesday, April 17, 2018)

Fly, hop, crawl and waddle your way into camp where we will explore how iconic and endangered species move through nature.  Campers will learn what these species need and will be able to create special messages through movement and art.

"Bringing Nature Home" (Wednesday, April 18, 2018)

Campers will become biologists today as we study native plants and insects and how they help each other.  We will bring home potted seeds to help our communities and create art that can be displayed to help others to be mindful of insect and plant relationships.

Wetland Explorations (Thursday, April 19, 2018)

Insects, amphibians, birds, mammals and more are some of the things we may spot on our journeys to the pond and marsh.  Net and capture some of the critters with us to study them up close!

Earth Celebration (Friday, April 20, 2018)

Today we will celebrate the Earth by learning about bats during our Live Animal Show (10:30-11:30)  provided by the Center for Wildlife!  We will finish our day with an exploration in nature and Earth art.
